Background

RH Managers (Pty) Ltd is a licensed discretionary fund manager whose primary objective is to improve the provision of healthcare in Africa. Our focus is to maximise all investments in order to develop medical facilities in Africa from both a social and an economic perspective.

 

Currently, RH Managers (Pty) Ltd manages the Bophelo Healthcare Fund (BHF). This is a R1.6 billion fund whose focus is to invest in healthcare infrastructure, providing accessible, affordable and quality healthcare to the greater population of South Africa. With regards to this fund, the primary objective for RH Managers is to increase these healthcare funds to R5 billion in the medium-term and, in doing so, provide superior healthcare delivery in Africa.

With growing demand for healthcare facilities, combined with the lack of equity investment in the healthcare sector, RH Managers is well positioned to employ its healthcare and financial markets expertise. RH Managers endeavours to identify, acquire, fund, manage and divest in a worthwhile and diverse set of healthcare investments.

Team profile

Led by Quinton Zunga, the RH Managers team comprises nine qualified investment professionals, all of whom have significant combined experience in project finance, medical insurance and public healthcare management.

 

The RH Managers team boasts a collective tenure that exceeds several decades, resulting in a hands-on proficiency in the effective management of both the South African and African medical and financial investment operating environments. Included in this experience is a sound comprehension of the key commercial principles that underpin investment decisions.
